Job Description

Accounting Work

  • To manage day to day operations of the accounts department.
  • Process vendor and supplier invoices, in a timely manner, verifying accuracy, approvals and account coding in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Prepares cheques and associated reports as required in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare all Accounts Payable sub-ledger journals for posting to General Ledger monthly.
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable sub-ledger to General Ledger monthly.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries as required.  
  • Prepares credit notes, debit notes and send it to General Manager for verification and approval.
  • Coordinate with clients for delivery of invoices and outstanding payments.
  • Receiving client contracts, payments and update it in the books accordingly.
  • Checking staff leave/final settlements and prepare staff payments.
  • Preparing salary deduction and addition list monthly basis and send it to HR Department.
  • Preparing payroll reconciliation, Checking monthly payroll and forward to General Manager for approval.
  • Preparing payroll accrual, payment, staff EOSB accrual accounting entries.
  • Preparing Daily & monthly bank reconciliation
  • Preparing bank payment, correspondence and Coordinate with bank for bank related work.
  • Handing Petty cash transactions and reconciling the cash on daily basis.
  • Maintain fixed assets register and follow up the fixed assets policy & procedure.
  • Preparing associate co. reconciliation, provision and accruals entries.
  • Preparing monthly closing entries and prepare monthly profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement.
  • Assists for auditing of finance statements.   

Office Administrative Work

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management
  • Perform data entry and scan documents.
  • Assist in resolving any administrative problems. 

Qualification/Skill Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Strong technical accounting background.
  • Atleast three years general ledger accounting experience is required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • Team player and have ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively.
  • 5+years of hands on accounting and administrative support experience
